Ying taught herself to read Chinese at 3 years old and did not consider this strange until I pointed it out. To quote her "I don't remember learning to read, it's just something I can do". Since then she has gone on to get her PhD in Chemistry from the University of Cambridge. She currently works as a Postdoctoral Researcher working with very big magnets.
Graeme has an affinity with taking apart electrical things (such as sockets) since he is a young child. Unfortunately for his parents, he did not learn how to put electrical sockets back together until he is much older. He grew up building and breaking computers and is now even paid to fix them.
